GOALS

Much like previous CAPPA Conferences, the 12th Croatian Scientific and Professional Conference AIR PROTECTION 2021 aims to gather experts from the field of air pollution and motivate them to display the results of their work, indicate existing and potential problems, exchange experiences and opinions among each other, and mutually reach conclusions about future actions.

ORGANIZATION

The Conference will be organized as a combination of participation in person and virtual participation. In the case of unfavorable epidemiological conditions, the Conference will take place exclusively virtually and the participants will be refunded part of their fee. The introductory lectures, EFCA session, oral presentations, posters, and marketing presentations will be able to be presented as:

• Oral presentations at the conference venue
• Posters at the conference venue
• Live oral presentations by virtual means
• Virtual posters

The oral presentations of lecturers from other time zones will be able to be presented in prerecorded form.

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

Instructions and accompanying forms for writing abstracts can be found at: www.huzz.hr

The abstracts are sent as attachment to: sazeci-zrak2021@huzz.hr in the following form: surname_name_abstract_X   (X marks the number of the contribution if the first author is sending more than one abstract)

The deadline for submitting abstracts is June 1, 2021

Authors will receive notice whether their abstract is accepted by June 30, 2021.

The accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts, which will be given to each participant upon registration.

Authors may send the results presented at the Conference in the form of a scientific paper (“in extenso“) to be published in the Conference Proceedings which will be published in digital form after the conference, or in journal Archives of Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology (https://www.imi.hr/hr/izdavastvo/casopis-arhiv) indexed in SCI Expanded, Medline/PubMed, Scopus and other databases.

Instructions for preparing papers for the Proceedings can be found at: www.huzz.hr.

The papers should be sent as an attachment to: radovi-zrak2021@huzz.hr to 30.10.2021. Submitted papers will undergo a review process.

NOTICE FOR CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS

REGISTRATION FEE

The Registration Fee of 260 € for the first participant and 160 € for other participants from the same institution should be paid by 15th July 2021. After this date, the fee can be paid at the Conference in the amount of 310 €. Accompanying persons pay a fee of 90 €. Registration fee for virtual participation: 65 €.

Virtual participation fee: 500 kn.

The payment of the fee should be made to the Association's account no:

swift code PBZGHR2X, (quoting the Conference Air Protection 2021), or at the very Conference.

The fee covers the Book of Abstracts (hardcopy and digital version), Book of Papers (digital version) and other related materials. Participants who will not be able to participate in person will be provided with Conference materials after the meeting.

All participants of the Conference will be accommodated (at discount prices) at the hotel Park Plaza Belvedere ****, Medulin.
